The growth of mobile internet usage created the need to revamp Lomarenga's online booking system to be device-independent. Tietotalo designed and implemented a new look and user experience for the booking engine, with special attention paid to the smoothness of the search and the ease of the booking process. With a basic search, the user can quickly find the offerings in the area they want and, if they wish, can refine the search by, for example, price range, cabin equipment level or distances to different destinations such as a ski resort or beach. The user-oriented design of the service has increased visitor traffic and sales to new records.

From the beginning, we had very similar views on the development direction of the online service. Tietotalo has the necessary mobile expertise and we have experience in the cottage rental business. Designed and implemented by Tietotalo, the management portal for cottage owners makes it easy to manage cottage information, booking status and pricing, as well as financial reporting. The clear and straightforward portal for cottage owners has contributed to increasing the number of renters and suppliers. The cottage owner can see the bookings for the following days and the current day's departures and arrivals on the management portal dashboard. This way, the owner is always up to date with key events and can handle the required communication with customers.

Cottage pricing has been made easy. Lomarengas helps to assess the price level of the property when the property is being added to the service. Each property has its own price list for different periods. If necessary, the owner can make price reductions and increases at the desired times according to demand.

Cabin Owner dashboard reports and facilitates rental operations in many ways. The cottage owner receives a report from the system with reservation information and arrival and departure information for the desired period. For financial management, the system produces a VAT report for the selected period.

In addition to the Cabin Owner dashboard, Tietotalo has also implemented other tools that streamline the service, one of which is the connection for property caretakers. Through the connection, caretakers receive information about, for example, new arrivals, special requests and ordered services such as final cleaning.
